16. Long Way to trivitas B12!
I've spent most of my lifetime serving businesses and organizations in a variety of roles. I now help other people learn not to do the same! I was born in Coventry, England during WW2 . I owe the rest of my life to my mother who used to put me to sleep in a chest of drawers each night - to protect me from German Bombs. It worked and I've been grateful ever since. My early childhood around Coventry involved school - where I attended St. Lawrence's Church of England - which suffered hits from bombing - where I learned how to fight other boys, climb trees, go to Sunday school, sing in the choir at church and venture into places I shouldn't have (especially bombed-out buildings closed in case of unexploded bombs!). At school I was caned frequently by my teacher for "not washing behind my ears" and for other reasons I can't recall. After I learned to get under a table where the teacher's cane lost some of its sting she didn't bother me too much. I learned about aircraft - because I often saw Tiger Moths flying high above the school. i guess that exposure must have fueled the beginning of a lifetime desire - to Fly! I also learned NOT to jump over barbed-wire fences after I got hung-up on one whilst trying to escape an orchard owner when scrumping apples! At age 10 our family moved to a neighboring town - a coal-mining community. My first day at school I met, fought and defeated the school "Bully" who felt he had to keep all newcomers 'in-line'. After that we became good mates and later played rugby football together. My teenage years were full of adventure. I loved nature walks, going to new places, villages outside the immediate township etc. and eventually won a scholarship to a Technical High School where I studied until I was 16 years of age. At this school I became fascinated with playing music (Euphonium and trombone), played rugby for the school with a fabulous, unbeatable group of boys who defeated all before them. We smoked and drank our way through school - often sneaking away during P.E. sessions to creep into the local Pub or into one of the boy's homes where we could watch TV and relax before running back to school in time to end our class. It was a community of 'Hard men' but warm hearts. they were the salt of the earth and I believe that community helped forge the strength of character I have. I left school and took up an apprenticeship as a Design Draughtsman - because that was the only chance I had. It led to a career in sheetmetal fabrication of some of the finest trucks and buses, cars like Jaguar, Alvis and eventually became the youngest Foreman ever in that company. At 22 I emigrated to South Africa, worked for General Motors and enjoyed some wonderful weekends in the wilderness of that fabulous country before returning to England to marry my childhood sweetheart. Five years later my first son was born and I realized I wanted him to 'enjoy a better life'. England was grim and seemingly always filled with drizzling rain, fog and dark days so when the opportunity came to take up a new job in New Zealand I took it.We emigrated there 35 years ago and life has been good in many ways. I've enjoyed a fruitful life with advancing responsibilities in different companies - all of which has been very educational and fulfilling.through that I've been able to expand my horizons, learn new skills and enjoy some amazing experiences and adventures. My two sons now do the same ..and some! In network marketing, look for business models that cut straight through the hype and lies found on the Internet. Such business models offer stability and empower average people with the moderate ability to enjoy success - Frank Heath.

Why Multivitamins Are So Important As you review your diet of the past week, ask yourself, “Did I eat the right amount of fruits and vegetables every day?” (Five servings for children, seven servings for women and nine servings for men.) If you can say “yes” – congratulations! If you are like most people you did not reach that goal. And, if you are like most of us, you did not eat all of your fruits and vegetables from an organic source; so, the fruits and vegetables may have been lacking in nutrition. How can you tell if your multivitamin supplement is imbalanced? One way is to notice your urine after you take the supplement. If it turns bright yellow or orange after taking a vitamin you can suspect that this supplement is imbalanced. Now, to be fair, the person taking the vitamin may be imbalanced instead. This happens if someone has eaten an imbalanced diet for some time. Still, it is more often the supplement that is imbalanced, not the person. Conclusion

Fast-forward several years and several other not-so-memorable home business experiences and I re-discovered Veretekk. This time I decided to study it hard and quickly realised its hidden power.

While most of us like to think we made a wise choice in the first place, this information throws new light on the topic of starting a home based business!

Study results of ways of making money online find 95% failure rate!

In their recent publication - Wednesday, July 23, 2008 Pro Consumer Guide, in their report entitled "Make Money Online Programs - Do They Really Work?" had this to say about ways of making money online which were studied,

"Around 95% of these programs failed our strict testing procedure, and thus were rated as very poor quality. Some of the characteristic features that led to poor quality gradings on all such programs include but are not limited to:

Too little information provided: Whilst the concepts and methods were presented fairly well, there was no further information of practical or instructional value. This left us a little lost.

Poor quality of information: In some cases the program merely consisted of an E-book in PDF format ranging from 50 to 80 pages with an inflated font-size to make the book appear more than what it actually is. The information was poor, confusing and the content had many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. These were very unprofessional products. And we were surprised that such highly advertised programs could be of such low quality.

Hidden fees and huge upsells: A number of these programs did not disclose that there were further fees for the use of certain resources they offered, and many others offered an "upsell" which is offering you a higher value item at the point of purchase.

No clear privacy or refund policy: Many of the poor quality programs did not offer a clear privacy policy nor a refund policy. We attempted to get refunds for some of the extremely poor programs but were unsuccessful in most cases.

Selling of mentoring programs: Our personal information was used (or passed on to other organizations) and we received a few emails and calls in some instances attempting to sell us expensive mentoring schemes.

Poor customer support: The poor quality programs had support that was not very responsive and in some cases, non-existent. Conclusion

Our tests over a period of 12 weeks proved very disappointing for the most part. The majority of these programs were a waste of time and money, and proved next to useless in the end. With a 95% failure rate in our study it is important that people ensure they join only the highest quality programs since it is very possible to make a reasonable income online. Our tests revealed only two decent programs which showed promising results."

Now this is not an isolated, one-off report. There are many other so called -'watch-dogs' out there - the key is finding them and listening to what they have to say about starting a home based business because unfortunately, most people searching for ways to make money online get hooked early in their research because they lack the know-how or aren't aware of such scams !

Another way to research what is a good business to start is to look for specific reports by people who collect information and study these companies over a long period of time (as many such programs "die" within weeks or months of their launch date).

One such book that I was referred to and found to be extremely informative was "How to select a network marketing Company" by Daren C. Falter who spent thousands of hours doing his own due diligence and research. I'm equally sure that others are available and may be found by spending a few minutes - even hours online.After all,deciding what is a good business to start is a serious staep and as such deserves good,well-balanced judgement when making a choice.

Another way to find ways of make money online is to talk to lots of people who have seen both sides of the equation. People have experienced losses through making hasty decisions, not being thorough enough and so on or simply making the wrong choice of opportuntiy for whatever reason.

In this respect, as someone who has searched for ways of starting a home based business and making money online at different times during the past nine years, I'm happy to suggest you look at one which I've recently been introduced to for a couple of reasons which are:

A Vitamin found in meat, fish and milk may help stave off memory loss in old age, a study has suggested.

Older people with lower than average vitamin B12 levels were more than six times more likely to experience brain shrinkage, researchers concluded.

The University of Oxford study, published in the journal Neurology, tested the 107 apparently healthy volunteers over a five-year period. Some studies suggest two out of five people are deficient in the ">Vitamin

The problem is even more common among the elderly, and recent moves to supplement bread with folic acid caused concern that this could mask B12 deficiency symptoms in older people. The Oxford study looked at a group of people between 61 and 87, splitting it into thirds depending on the participants' vitamin B12 levels. Even the third with the lowest levels were still above a threshold used by some scientists to define vitamin B12 deficiency.

However, they were still much more likely to show signs of brain shrinkage over the five-year period. "This study adds another dimension to our understanding of the effects of B Vitaminson the brain - the rate of shrinkage of the brain as we age may be partly influenced by what we eat." Shrinkage has been strongly linked with a higher risk of developing dementia at a later stage and Rebecca Wood, the chief executive of the Alzheimer's Research Trust, said further research was needed.

"This study suggests that consuming more vitamin B12 through eating meat, fish, fortified cereals or milk as part of a balanced diet might help protect the brain. Liver and shellfish are particularly rich sources of B12. "Vitamin B12 deficiency is a common problem among elderly people in the UK and has been linked to declining memory and dementia."

41. Working in a team
Working in a team I have seen it time and again during my internet /Network marketing career - lonely people!

Nothing has changed really when I think about it. Far too many people jump in to these business opportunties through word of mouth and 'silver-tongued' marketing material without really understanding what they're getting into. I'm sure you know what I mean.

What often happens after the initial 'courtship' and excitement of joining is over is the reality of ever-lessening communication from the sponsor/upline, deteriorating results from attempted enrollments and recruiting sorties which gradually lead to the realization that there's a big 'Drudge factor ' in their business called "Work"! It's a difficult feeling to address really and subsequently becomes a prominent reason for regular 'fallout' in most MLM and Network marketing Businesses. Even so-called Industry Experts with years of 'success' behind them can lapse into laziness and wake up to discover half of more of their downline has dissappeard.

As someone who's witnessed this in recent years I try constantly (or at least periodically ) to remind myself to "stay focussed". You see, without even knowing the extent of your experience in this matter, I feel sure you'll understand what I am talking about. So what better than working in a team?

Most people I think would say,"Great idea" and it is. But of course there are 'teams' and Teams". Now whilst its not my intent to deliberate on that aspect of our business, suffice to say it's necessary to step back from time to time and observe things from an onlookers perspective.

Whilst teams can and are oftentimes very effective and motivational,it pays to keep a level head. The benefits can be great and far better than trying to "go it alone". Above all else I feel its important not to lose sight of your (and the Team's) DIRECTION! It's so easy to lose focus. Be alert to dissenting members who want to pull the team in different directions - often they've a hidden agenda to satisfy of some kind!

Be true to your own ideals and understanding of the team's Charter of values, goals and behaviour. Call your upline - reach upwards to the top leaders if you have any concerns. Many of them will welcome information that can help them avoid untimely disasters in their network and can take action to consolidate and maintain harmonious strategies etc.

All in all, a good team will stand the test of time and get back on course after 'experiencing 'stormy weather' of some kind or another whereas individuals can so often weaken, feel dejected and simplty give up.!

If you haven't given much thought to wealth management aspect of operating your home business lately, it could be a good time to give it some thought. Its important to note this because of the need for a business to "differentiate your service from others" in order to gain significant market presence.
